ABOUT DROOBI

What is Droobi?

Droobi is a digital behavior change program designed to empower people to build healthy habits that will last. Droobi’s program is based on clinically-proven science and provides each person digital tracking tools with access to a personal real-life health coach. Our product uses smart technology to learn more about each person and their unique condition with the goal to ultimately make their self-care easier

How long is the program?

The structure of the program consists of two parts: the core program (month 1-4) and maintenance program (month 4-10). During the core program, you will build your knowledge and skill set to change your eating and exercising habits and learn how to overcome challenges and reinforce new habits. In the maintenance program you can continue practicing and reinforcing your new healthy changes while staying connected to Droobi’s tools and resources, with shorter weekly lessons and monthly follow-up with your health coach.

How do I track my food?

Droobi doesn’t want you to worry about calorie counting, leave that stress with US! You can track your food in two simple ways:

  1. Post a photo of everything you eat (the good and the bad!) to your visual food diary. Your health coach will use your photos to understand how much you’re eating and keep track of how many portions you’re having regularly.
  2. Manually add the number of portions you’re consuming for each food group (veggies, fruits, dairy, protein, starches) by roughly estimating each portion using our visual portion guide.

What do the numbers next to food groups mean?

The number represents the assigned number of portions for each food group.

What does “1 portion” mean?

Every person has their own eating plan, which is an assigned number of portions for each food group; vegetables, starches, protein, fruit and dairy. A portion is a recommended amount or size of food. For example, one third cup rice and 1 slice of toast are examples of 1 portion of starch. You can try different types of food to meet your daily assigned food portion targets! When you click on the name of a food group, you can find a long list of options available for you to choose from and a visual guide to help you size accurately.

How can I synchronize steps from Apple Health with Droobi?

From the menu side-bar, select the Apple Health tab. Then, click on Settings, enter Privacy, click on Apple Health then select Droobi and swipe to allow steps.

I would like to add my readings in mmol instead of mg/dl. How do I change the units?

From the menu side-bar, select Blood glucose reading. At the bottom of the page you will find the option to choose your preferred units.

I have an additional blood sugar reading that’s not part of my prescribed plan. Where can I log it?

On the blood sugar tracking page, there is an option below to “Add more readings”. By tapping on this, you can add any additional readings you may have taken throughout the day.
